- “OLDIES” FOOD BOXES – Just to let you know that we have started collecting for March’s “Oldies” food boxes. If you would like to help us this month that would be fantastic…..also as Easter is the first weekend in April if you would like to drop off a little something for their Easter, I am sure that will be a real treat for them……We will be packing on the 31st of March. - “MARS LIFE SAVER PACKAGE” - For those that remember last year the community assisted a few of our “Oldies” on the Mars Life Saver package. This is a package that aids and assists in Transport in cases of an emergency, this includes evacuation to Bulawayo if required and a few other things. This is not a medical Aid. We had a wonderful response last year and had a few community members assisting with payment for our dear friends. The total cost for the entire year (May 2012 – May 2013) for one person is $36. We will have 10 “Oldies” joining this year. If you would like to be a part of this assistance, please let me know.
