Clearsnap: Oh, So Sweet!

Happy Saturday...Jean Okimoto here, with a sweet greeting of cupcakes for you!  No calories, fat, carbs, sodium or guilt - just an array of great products from Clearsnap, Sizzix, Hampton Art and Purple Cow here today.

I love how Clearsnap products "iced" these little cupcakes to resemble enticing flavors like (left to right) Sweet Berry, Midnight Mint, Espresso Ganache, Cherry Lemonade and Tangerine Splash.  Making up these names was as much fun as making the card!

Other Supplies

  • Bazzill  Basics Cardstock - Lagoon (3-1/2" x 7-7/8" card), Apricot, Petunia
  • Kraft Cardstock
  • Cold-pressed Watercolor Paper
  • Diecut Machine and Plates
  • Sizzix Sizzlits Cupcake Decorative Strip Die
  • Sizzix Framelits Circles Die Set (used the 2-1/2" die)
  • Detail Clear Embossing Powder
  • Heat-Tool
  • Purple Cow Free-standing Mouse, Mat, Guide and Cutter #2805

Directions

  • Diecut cupcakes from watercolor paper and Kraft cardstock
  • Cut the tops of the watercolor cupcakes and decorate them 
  • Berry and Opalescent Clear Embossing Powder
  • Zen Garden (heat-set), Rollagraphed with Espresso and Simple Dots, embossed with detail clear powder
  • Espresso and detail clear powder
  • Embossing Ink, Lemonade embossing powder, Cherry - Ruby and Espresso embossed with clear powder  (Cherry is diecut along the top of the cupcake strip)
  • Sweet Melon heat-set, Brocade Design Adhesives brushed with Sweet Orange Glitter
  • Ink the Kraft diecut cupcake bottoms with Chestnut Roan
  • Attach the decorated cupcake tops to the Kraft cupcake strip
  • Burnish "Sweet" from the Lots of Thoughts Design Adhesives onto the diecut circle and emboss it with Cocoa Bean Embossing Powder
  • Cut a 5" wide strip of Apricot, trim it to 1-7/8" high and ink the edges with Chestnut Roan
  • Assemble the card
